Katie Gibbons has spent the last 30 years enriching the lives of young children as a kindergarten teacher, pre-kindergarten teacher, and director of a childcare center. A graduate of Purdue University with a degree in early childhood education, Katie joined CTC in 2020 to continue her career supporting and encouraging families with young children through First Steps.
Katie loves interacting with children and is always seeking ways to make early learning fun, active, and developmentally appropriate. Her goal is to empower families with strategies that support social-emotional growth, promote resilience in children, and meet the child’s specific developmental needs.
In her free time, Katie enjoys cooking, reading, and doing DIY home projects. Above all, she relishes the time she spends with her husband, three grown children and extended family.
