Liz earned her BA in Therapeutic Recreation from Indiana University in 2004, and certification in dental assisting from the IU School of Dentistry in 2010. Her varied work experience, first as a case manager for homeless youth, followed by several years as an expanded functions dental assistant, served to hone Liz’s skills in listening, communicating, and providing support and encouragement.
Liz joined Children’s Therapy Connection in 2019, serving as the First Steps Referral Coordinator. Her current responsibilities of providing therapist support, and helping strengthen relationships within the CTC team and community fit perfectly with Liz’s desire to utilize her creativity, planning, and organizational skills, while sharing her passion for CTC with others.
Liz resides near Cicero with her energetic son and dachshund/lab rescue. She is a foodie who enjoys antiquing, independent coffee shops, reading, and outdoor activities.
