Denice is an occupational therapist working in the outpatient clinic. She graduated in 2004 from Indiana University with a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy.
Denice began her career working with adults in long term care and loved working with such a challenging but rewarding population that many times get overlooked in their season of life. Life then threw her a curve ball when she experienced a high risk pregnancy. In and out of the hospital, she was forced to be on bed rest most of the pregnancy, and was blessed with a preemie and NICU stay at the end of it. Less than two years later, she repeated it all over with another high risk pregnancy and preemie. She took this as a sign that she needed to slow down and stay home to help raise her babies. It was an amazing but also difficult period of life, and because of it, Denice truly understands the roller coaster of raising kids with their own personalized needs as she lived it first hand.
As her boys have gotten older, she made the decision to return to OT and ultimately pursue her dream of working in pediatrics. In addition to working in long term care, she has also worked as a school based OT and in teletherapy. She lives in Noblesville and when she is not working, she enjoys spending family time with her husband, 2 boys, and dog (Turbo). More times than not, you’ll find her at the baseball field cheering on all her ball players!
